Four Common Types of Wire Used for Irregular Springs

1. Qin steel wire is subjected to toughening treatment using Qin steel wire, which is processed by strong wire drawing to endow it with excellent scale accuracy, excellent surface skin, and highly mechanical properties. Toughening is the process of continuously heating high carbon steel wire at temperatures above the abnormal point and cooling it in molten lead at about 500 ℃ to form a highly processable structure;

2. Hard steel wire

After toughening with hard steel wire, carbon steel wire is processed and manufactured through cold drawing. The data and processing are not as strict as those of qin steel wire, and high-quality ones are sometimes no less than qin steel wire. However, their unevenness is generally greater than that of qin steel wire, and they are widely used for Irregular Springs with few repetitions and those without impact load.

3. Stainless steel wire

Stainless steel wire has both soft and hard wires. For irregular spring, hard wire is used. This is made of stainless steel wire that is made of fire, acid washed, and strong cold wire, which has excellent corrosion resistance but is also conducive to the demand for heat resistance. In non-magnetic situations, in order to expand the tensile strength, the carbon content is increased and the wire drawing processing degree is increased. Therefore, if the tensile strength is too high, there may be stress corrosion and magnetic properties; Stainless steel is generally used for irregular spring: SUS302, SUS304, SUS316.

The irregular spring has excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, but has a small heat resistance coefficient and low heat resistance.
